A woman with long brown hair sitting on a dark gray couch, smiling, in a room with a white wall and a large abstract silver and white painting behind her. There are decorative pillows on the couch, and she is wearing a light gray top, gray pants, and black ankle boots.

WHY I CARE

I became a therapist because I care deeply about real, meaningful connection—the kind that happens when we drop our masks and show up as we truly are. Like many therapists, I was drawn to this work through my own challenges. Facing those struggles led me toward self-discovery, healing, and learning how to regulate and care for my own nervous system.

That journey inspired me to help others do the same. I’m passionate about supporting millennials and working professionals who feel anxious, stuck, or disconnected—people who are striving to grow but are tired of doing it alone. My goal is to create a space where you can feel safe, understood, and empowered to reconnect with your confidence and inner stability.

COUNSELLING PHILOSOPHY

I believe every person has a natural drive toward healing, balance, and fulfillment. But life’s pressures stress, trauma, perfectionism, and self-doubt can create blocks that keep us from living fully.

In our work together, we’ll explore the patterns and beliefs that hold you back and help you develop tools to move through them. Through this process, you can gain clarity, self-compassion, and emotional resilience. My role is to help you understand yourself on a deeper level, so you can feel more grounded and present in your life, relationships, and work.

Therapy is not just about coping it’s about growth. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, burnout, or trauma, counselling can help you feel more connected to who you are and what you truly need.

APPROACH

My approach is relational, trauma-informed, and evidence-based, grounded in curiosity, compassion, and collaboration. I work with clients throughout Vancouver who are ready to better understand themselves and create lasting change.

I integrate a blend of approaches, including:

  • Developmental and Attachment-Based Psychology – understanding how early experiences shape adult patterns

  • Psychodynamic Therapy – exploring unconscious influences and emotional depth

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) – for trauma and emotional processing

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) – connecting with and healing different parts of the self

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) – building awareness and creating new ways of thinking and responding

My style is mindful, compassionate, and deeply relational. I bring a balance of insight and practical tools to help you move from survival mode to a more connected and authentic way of being.
